Description:
We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer with expertise in Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) to help support our Payroll team. As an Oracle HCM QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Oracle HCM applications and solutions.
Tasks
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Oracle HCM applications to ensure software quality and adherence to business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to identify and resolve software defects and inconsistencies.
- Perform regression testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate the functionality and performance of Oracle HCM solutions.
- Utilize automated testing tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage, ensuring robust and reliable software releases.
- Document and report test results, defects, and issues in a clear and concise manner, providing recommendations for improvements and ensuring timely resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years’ experience in Payroll, Time and Labor, and Absence Management
- 3+ years’ experience working with Oracle HCM (preferably in Payroll and Time & Absence modules)
- Proficient with SQL/PG-SQL (at least 2+ years’ experience and experience with complex joins)
- Experience in Data Migration testing, Functional testing, and E2E testing
- Experience with writing detailed manual tests and bug reports
- Ability to work with business and UAT to translate functional and non-functional requirements into test cases and test scripts
- Experience with Azure DevOps
