Description:

JOB SUMMARY

This Oracle Instance Administrator - Fusion is responsible to proactively manage and coordinate the technical and security changes across the organization into the Oracle environments with a particular focus on the SaaS area.

Responsibilities :

  • Managing and Planning of the Oracle environments , as it pertains to the following: patching, upgrades, tests coordination, shared resource planning, issue management and escalation, capacity planning, post-refresh management.
  • Governance, Audits and Security : implement technical solutions in the Oracle Security area, run audit reports, ensure access control is implemented, security roles creation and maintenance, review elevated accesses and ensure appropriateness, ensure segregation of duties is implemented in all environments, support all the SOX related activities
  • Coordination and Supervisioning the technical activities within the various silos of Vertiv and Business IT groups and the consultant team’s work taking care of the instance management area
  • Integrations Management : work with the integration team and ensure the Oracle environments are correctly connected, PAAS management
  • Participate to the technical Change Advisory Board (CAB) and to the Architectural Review Boards meetings (ARB)
  • Prepare and present to senior IT leaders
  • Review project plans to ensure alignment to standards
  • Identify critical issues and escalate either internal or external
  • Participate in project status stage gates and update meetings
  • Participate in strategy and staff meetings
  • Engage external resources (IT consultants), the strategic IT plan, organizational structure, and processes, as well as the business unit structures. Strives to meet IT service levels through appropriate and timely action, requirements collection, incidents resolution, post-test remediation and post-change education of end users
  • Creates awareness of activities and progress through regular status reports to management
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements :

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field of study.
  • At least 7 years’ experience in Information Technology with progressively increasing technical experience
  • Experience with management of Oracle Fusion pods and large Oracle EBS implementations
  • Advanced user of SharePoint, Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Strong Technical Background
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Willing to be on call after hours to deal with critical system issues.
  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and heterogeneous processing environments
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet fixed deadlines
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff as well as outside suppliers and contractors.
  • Maintains integrity of highly confidential information and files.
  • Strong verbal communication skills: ability to speak effectively in a professional group environment
  • Exceptional written and proofreading skills
  • Capable of working relationships with outside vendors and on-site suppliers
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment without direct supervision.
  • Flexibility to adjust to changing needs
  • Strong analytical skills preferred
  • Understand SQL language, SOA and REST Services, database objects.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion implementations
  • Deep knowledge of the Oracle Fusion security area
  • Able to create new security job roles and to work with privileges and roles inheritance
  • Understand BIP/OTBI ReportsUnderstand customizations with Sandboxes
