Oracle Instance Administrator

Vertiv is looking for an Oracle Instance Administrator in Piove Di Sacco, Padova who will be responsible for managing the Oracle EBS environments, and to coordinate and communicate the related activities. This role will be interfacing with various levels of technical personnel, subject matter experts and Senior level stakeholders as required.

WHAT WOULD BE THE PERFECT QUALIFICATIONS?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study
• 5+ years minimum experience in Information Technology with progressively increasing technical experience.
• Experience with Oracle EBS implementations
• Knowledge of the Oracle EBS security area.
• Knowledge of Oracle Databases and SQL queries.
• Knowledge of Change management processes.
• Knowledge of Service Now or other IT ticketing system.
• Basic knowledge of My Oracle Support platform.
• Basic knowledge of Linux/Putty commands.

• Manage the Oracle environments, as it pertains to the following:
• Support all the SOX related activities.
• Ensure segregation of duties is implemented.
• Review elevated accesses and ensure appropriateness.
• Coordinate technical solutions in the Oracle Security area.
• Ensure access control is implemented for all users.
• Instances Management and Allocations.
• Coordination and communication with the Implementation Teams.
• Release Management and code deployment process.
• Patching calendar planification.
• Tests coordination.
• Environments Refresh Scheduling.
• Post-refresh Coordination.
• Downtimes and activities communications.
• Coordinate the technical activities within the various IT pillars.Identify critical issues and escalate either internal or external.
