About our Team
Our Order to Cash applications team runs the core SCM/Finance systems for Elsevier. The team works in a collaborative environment working with a blended team of developers and application managers to support the R12 Application and related solutions.
About the Role
Translating directly into demand for change and new projects in the SCM and Order to Cash process areas of business. Whilst R12 is our current platform, we are also preparing for the next generation solution on Oracle ERP Cloud (Fusion).

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with stakeholders and experts across the order management and inventory. Finance teams to understand new business models, processes and impacts on existing solutions.
  • Working with other functional leads, development teams, DBAs and application managers to design and implement solutions.
  • Partnering with related teams in integration, sales, master data management and finance systems to implement end-to-end solutions. Some of those solutions will involve third-party warehouses, POD suppliers and trading partners in the books supply-chain.
  • Hands-on configuration of E-Business suite to setup the application parts of the solution.
  • Executing systems and integration testing to ensure the built solution meets the requirements agreed; support the business operations and finance teams.
  • Making sure work is delivered to the time and cost constraints agreed with project managers and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Have solid functional knowledge of most of Oracle R12 eBusiness Suite modules.
  • Demonstrate functional knowledge of the typical business processes that surround the modules outlined above.
  • Experience with integration from external systems such as Salesforce, Siebel and custom-built solutions, either via API or batch processes.
