DESCRIPTION OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Database Installation and Configuration:

• Install and configure Oracle database software and related products.
• Set up database instances, configure database parameters, and manage database storage structures.

1. Database Maintenance and Optimization:

• Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as backup, recovery, patching, and upgrades.
• Monitor database performance and implement optimization strategies to ensure efficient database operation.
• Conduct regular database health checks and performance tuning.

1. Application Support:

• Collaborate with application developers to design and optimize database schemas, queries, and indexes.
• Provide support for application deployment, including database scripting and change management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related application issues.

1. Data Management:

• Manage database storage and capacity planning.
• Implement data archiving, retention, and purging policies.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across database systems.

1. Disaster Recovery and High Availability:

• Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and procedures.
• Configure and manage high-availability solutions such as Oracle Data Guard and Real Application Clusters (RAC).
• Perform regular testing of backup and recovery procedures.

1. Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with IT, application development, and business teams to ensure seamless database operations.
• Provide training and support to end-users and team members.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
