Better Health Network (BHN) is seeking a passionate Oral Health Therapist (Extended Scope) to join our dedicated Oral Health team.

REQUIREMENTS AND ATTRIBUTES:

• Bachelor of Oral Health or Bachelor of Oral Health Science
• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
• Minimum of two years’ experience as an Oral Health Therapist (Extended Scope)
• Experience in pre-school, Smile Squad, and adult outreach programs
• Strong commitment to health promotion and health education
• Highly developed organizational and communication skills

• Provide high-quality oral health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Deliver preventive strategies and directions for oral health
• Provide dental treatments within the scope of practice and focus on long-term health goals
• Participate in dental outreach programs, including pre-school and supported residential services
• Mentor junior team members and participate in supervision, team meetings, and audits
