JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Dental Experience: Proven experience in assisting with oral surgical procedures and familiarity with related protocols required.
  • Working Experience: Must have at least one (1) year of experience in chairside dental assisting.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental software systems is advantageous.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate clearly and effectively with patients and team members.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Chairside Assistance: Provide expert support during dental procedures, anticipating the dentist’s needs and ensuring patient comfort.
  • Infection Control: Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
  • Radiography: Take and process dental X-rays with a focus on patient safety and precise diagnostic results.
  • Patient Records: Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment details, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Patient Communication: Explain procedures to patients and address any concerns effectively.
  • Treatment Environment: Ensure a clean and organized treatment area, restocking supplies and equipment as needed.
