Description:

Over the next 18 months, Beaumont Hospital is embarking on a healthcare transformation program (Project Coral) aimed at revolutionising healthcare delivery throughout the hospital. The program will begin with the replacement of the Laboratory, Emergency Department, Patient Administration and Order Communications systems and associated downstream systems.
We are seeking highly skilled and experienced individual to join the ICT department and Project Coral team as a Projects and Configuration Gr VII.
The ideal candidates will possess a deep understanding of the workflow processes, regulations, and best practices within order communications and clinical configuration and its integration across the rest of the hospital.
Responsibilities:
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
- Experience in a clinical role gaining an understanding of the complexities and challenges of the day-to-day delivery of patient care
- Proficiency in process analysis software and tools (Visio etc).
- Experience of implementing patient-based information system including integration, data migration and associated challenges
PLANNING AND ORGANISATIONAL SKILLS
- The ability to implement and manage change, clinical and business processes
- The ability to manage deadlines and effectively handle multiple tasks within a busy environment
- Evidence of strong organisational skills including an awareness of resource management.
- The ability to improve efficiency within the working environment and the ability to evolve and adapt to a rapid changing environment.
- The ability to take responsibility and be accountable for the delivery of agreed tasks within agreed timelines.
TEAM WORKING AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS
- Experience in managing and leading a team
- The ability to work with multi-disciplinary team members and stakeholders to facilitate high performance, developing and achieving clear and realistic objectives
- Be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and can take a group lead

- Competence in the use of standard MS packages, i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook and Project Office
