WHO ARE WE, AND WHAT CAN WE OFFER?

We are a team of 9 team members who are looking for a colleague to join our Order team in Volvo Trucks. The main mission of the team is to support and assist the dealer network and market companies with order planning. The team works with colleagues across the globe and interact with dealers, market companies and internal Volvo stakeholders to ensure we do our utmost to fulfill our customers’ needs every day. Order Support is located in Tuve factory, with the mission to provide premium brand support to our markets.

We are looking for someone who is an active team player with a positive mindset, capable of working independently and taking initiative. You enjoy both structured work and thinking outside the box. Since the position involves hands-on tasks, you will need to effectively manage clear deadlines, while also thinking analytically and anticipating future needs.

To succeed in this role, you:

  • Have a university degree in logistics and/or experience of logistics processes
  • Have good understanding of the sales environment, manufacturing and logistics
  • Are service minded, customer oriented and determined to reach agreed objectives
  • Can contribute to our digitalization journey
  • Are capable to see the overall picture and make decisions accordingly
  • Have knowledge of Microsoft Office and Volvo planning tools or similar planning tools
  • Are fluent in English and Swedish and have good communication skills, both written and spoken

Responsibilities:

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

  • Responsible to drive the interface with Group Trucks Operations, GTO concerning order planning.
  • Secure a qualitative orderbook at firm planning handover and obtain the necessary industrial flexibility for the markets.
  • Responsible for planning project orders.
  • Work proactively to optimize orderbook and automatic planning.
  • Provide a forecast on restrictions to GTO based on historical trends and future market outlook.
  • Follow up the predefined KPI’s and take actions for improvements.
  • Develop current processes and ways of working, we constantly strive to improve and meet the expectations on flexibility and speed from our customers.
