Order Entry Clerk

Lesman Instrument Company (A Kele Company), a nationwide provider of process control valves, industrial instrumentation and analytical instrumentation, is in search of an Order Entry Clerk who will be responsible for entering orders and information into the company’s operating systems, answering and processing incoming phone calls from customers and other departments, and assisting with projects and clerical duties as needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of related work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to learn and use company software

• Enter and acknowledge orders placed via fax, mail, and e-mail
• Answer incoming phone calls, qualify those calls, and forward them to the appropriate personnel/department
• Assist Sales department with a wide variety of projects as assigned
• Perform clerical and office duties as needed to support Sales or other departments within the organization
• Assist customers with use and navigation of the company’s website and catalog
• Handle literature requests for pricing, data sheets and other requested information
• Monitor and release web orders as required
• Retrieve and accurately enter orders received via customer’s electronic PO portal, acknowledging as necessary
