We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Order Management & Sales Commission Advocate looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced software sales cycle environment.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are currently looking for a dynamic and adaptable Order Management & Sales Commission Advocate to join our Sales Operations team.
Reporting to the Sales Operations Manager, the Order Management & Sales Commission Advocate will play a fundamental role in supporting Maya’s order management processes, fulfilling our internal SLA to provide quick and accurate order processing turnaround, as well as assisting with the preparation of sales commission related data and reporting. You must be comfortable working with a large amount of financial data and documentation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail, along with proven multi-tasking and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of order processing and management, including detailed review of all orders to ensure compliance and accuracy to internal policies and guidelines
- Order processing: assist with the changeover in order management related processes from legacy systems to newly implemented ERP system; Netsuite
- Commission preparation: assist with the changeover from historical processes to implementation of newly purchased tool; Xactly
- Preparation of monthly commission calculations and reports as needed
- Assist with processes related to triggering customer invoicing/billing for both VAR and Services business units
- Support our sales team by liaising with 3rd party supplier(s) to resolve order-processing challenges
- Respond to inquiries on status of orders and related paperwork
Minimum Requirements:
- A DEC in Commerce, Business Administration or a related field
- A minimum of one year of work experience in a similar position that involved manipulation of a large volume of financial data
- Experience in a software and services sales environment is an asset
- Experience working with an ERP is an asset
- Very strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Organized, self-motivated and able to work autonomously with minimal assistance
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proactive with excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent relationship management
