Description:
Are you passionate about driving change and enhancing organisational capability? Napier City Council is looking for an experienced Organisation Development Advisor to join our team today.
As an Organisation Development Advisor, you will work closely with the Organisation Design & Development Manager to design and implement a variety of initiatives focused on organisational design. Your expertise will be essential in developing and coordinating workforce planning solutions that enhance the capability of our team. You’ll contribute to our ongoing change programme, helping to ensure that our organisation and its people are equipped to be flexible, adaptable, and ready for the future.
As our new Organisation Development Advisor your will key responsibilities will include:
- Develop comprehensive workforce plans addressing both current and future organisational needs.
- Collaborate with Business Partners to identify and plan for key future roles essential to NCC.
- Assist the People & Capability Operations Team with tools and strategies for effective succession planning.
- Design and implement change and transformation templates in line with best practices.
- Partner with the Business Analyst to identify trends and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making, such as in collective bargaining processes.
- Support the Organisation Design & Development Manager in crafting and executing frameworks, toolkits, and initiatives that foster inclusivity for all NCC employees.
- Contribute to enhancing staff competency and capability in Te Ao Māori across the organisation. Support the ongoing review and implementation of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi Framework in this context.
