The Organizational Development Analyst plans and executes initiatives to improve productivity, execution, and organizational effectiveness. They develop, implement, oversee, communicate, and measure the effectiveness of programs that support the mission and strategic goals, and drive higher levels of employee adoption and solution usage. The Organizational Development Analyst determines employee development needs, defines requirements for assigned projects, and leads internal communication initiatives.
As a member of the Organizational Development Team, the Organizational Development Analyst plays a critical role in improving the effectiveness of organizational processes and structures. This position involves analyzing, developing, and implementing strategies that promote employee engagement and contribute to the organization’s success.

EMPLOYEE DATA:

  • Maintains and updates IT organizational records and reports with accurate employee information.
  • Ensures the accuracy and integrity of employee data (IT dept #s, job codes, locations, etc.) by performing regular audits.
  • Develops and updates comprehensive job profiles in collaboration with department heads and managers.
  • Ensures all job descriptions accurately reflect the duties, responsibilities, and requirements of each role.
  • Conducts regular reviews and updates of job profiles to align with organizational changes and strategic goals.
  • Generates custom reports and dashboards for key stakeholders.
  • Facilitates the integration of IT employee data with HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

Responsibilities:

  • Creates and implements programs and process improvements that drive organizational results, support IT strategies and goals, and increase organizational effectiveness.
  • Develops and implements plans, drives milestones, mitigates obstructions, and communicates project status to leaders/stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
  • Develops, leads the execution of, and advises management teams on communication plans that have impact to the IT Division.
  • Applies innovative and forward-thinking strategies in the creation of effective, productive, and successful communications.
  • Creates and communicates content using a variety of media platforms (i.e. video, elearning, podcast, print, live, etc.), in support of company/divisional goals and strategies.
  • Analyzes data from surveys, reporting/analytics tools, and other sources to identify, prioritize and communicate organizational needs/challenges, influence leaders and measure success of change initiatives.
  • Designs requested or need-based deliverables.
  • Creates, and manages content, templates, and reference materials supporting the needs, requirements, and communications necessary to support the division.
  • Actively seeks out and identifies topics to engage the organization.
  • Develops and implements tools, strategies, and programs that leads to alignment of employee and company goals.
  • Creates and executes plans to support IT business changes, strengthen company wide acceptance, and increase the adoption rate.
  • Implements practices, processes, and procedures consistent with Costco’s information security policy and IT standards.
  • Identifies opportunities for streamlining, and increasing effectiveness through continuous process improvement.
