We are seeking a passionate and organized individual to temporarily join our team as a Maternity Leave Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless experience for our orthodontic patients. This position combines administrative duties, patient consultations, and case management. Consultations are a significant aspect of the role, requiring the ability to effectively guide new and existing patients through treatment options, financial discussions, and next steps. You’ll also manage the doctor’s schedule, monitor case progress, and maintain clear communication with patients, parents, and the clinical team. QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-2 years of experience as an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with orthodontic or dental software is an asset.
- A friendly, compassionate, and professional demeanor.
Responsibilities:
- Consultations: Conduct patient consultations to review orthodontic treatment plans, discuss options, and address any questions or concerns, ensuring patients feel informed and supported while providing financial options.
- Administrative Duties: Manage patient records, handle correspondence, process paperwork, and assist with financial agreements and billing.
- Schedule Management: Maintain and optimize the doctor’s schedule to ensure efficient patient flow and minimal downtime.
- Case Monitoring: Oversee orthodontic cases, track treatment progress, and ensure timely adjustments are scheduled.
- Patient Communication: Provide clear, friendly, and professional communication with patients and parents regarding treatment plans, appointments, and progress updates.
- Coordination: Act as a liaison between the clinical team, lab, and patients to ensure seamless case management.
- Records Management: Ensure all patient records and charts are updated accurately and in compliance with clinic policies.
- Follow-ups: Assist with post-treatment follow-ups to ensure patient satisfaction and treatment success.
