We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced medical secretary to work within the Orthopaedic service on a full-time basis to provide comprehensive secretarial and administration support to the clinical team and the department.
The daily tasks will include audio typing clinical documents, secretarial typing support to a busy virtual clinic alongside the clinical team and assist in facilitating appointments and data collection where appropriate, general secretarial duties as well as assisting in the organisation of the consultants workload. We are looking for a well organised individual who is highly motivated to join our busy team and who is committed to delivering a high quality service to our patients. Experience of typing/word processing and also audio typing is essential in this role. Medical secretarial experience, including support to a clinician and knowledge of medical terminology is also highly desirable.
You must be able to communicate effectively and have strong interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of hierarchies and disciplines
