Description:

We are looking to recruit a full time Senior Orthotic Administrative Officer, this is an exciting opportunity as we look to run the service as a single administrative team, The post holder will oversee the two admin bases, at Stoke Mandeville and Amersham, with responsibility for processing new referrals, running the appointment system, supporting the Orthotists in their busy and varied clinics.
This is a busy environment and the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and customer care skills, the ability to multitask, and be able to provide a warm, friendly and efficient service to all stakeholders, including manufacturers, service users, and staff.
To provide a comprehensive administration support service to the Orthotics service and ensure effective and efficient administrative and reception support to all patients that require orthotics or surgical appliances.
To provide an effective and efficient appointment/ reception service to patients and to assist the Orthotists as necessary in clinics, at times chaperoning and assisting patients.
To provide a comprehensive ordering, invoice payment and appliance issue / recording service utilising electronic databases, and financial information systems.
To be responsible for the supervision of other Orthotics Officers and the day to day running of the Orthotic contract.
