Description:

Maintenance Coordinator
Location: 145 Walgreen Rd, Caro, Ontario
Position Type: Full-time Permanent- Afternoon Shift
Reporting: District Equipment Manager
Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm to 12:00am

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Parts Technician 240P certification or previous industry experience would be considered
  • Forklift certification an asset
  • Technical aptitude
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to use Excel
  • Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities:

In the position of Maintenance Coordinator, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Liaise with drivers when they bring in pre & post trip inspection reports
  • Create and close out work orders as well as maintain the preventative maintenance schedules and repairs for waste vehicles using fleet maintenance software
  • Update daily unit down lists, as well as contacting outside vendors to obtain updates on truck repairs being conducted offsite
  • Organize & file maintenance documents to ensure complete vehicle records
  • Manage inventory and stock levels, and perform cycle counts as required
  • Bill requested parts inventory to work orders daily in an efficient manner
  • Organize inventory by subsystems-i.e. Engine, Suspension, Steering, exhaust etc.
  • Physical ability to transport inventory weighing up to 50 lbs to correct bin locations
  • Operate forklift during receiving duties
  • Resolve identified invoice discrepancies efficiently as identified by accounting
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management
