JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee operations during assigned shifts. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety and security of the premises while managing staff effectively. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to handle conflicts, and a keen eye for loss prevention. The Shift Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment through surveillance and proactive management.
Shift: 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am, weekend availability is a must

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in law enforcement or security management is preferred.
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and surveillance systems is essential.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
• Military experience is a plus, demonstrating discipline and leadership capabilities.
• Familiarity with CCTV operations and monitoring practices is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a team effectively.

Education:

• Associate (Required)

Experience:

• Security Supervisor: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• NY Security Guard License (Required)
• Fire Guard (Preferred)
• OSHA Certification (Preferred)

• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff during shifts to ensure operational efficiency.
• Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to maintain safety and security protocols.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Handle conflict management situations effectively, ensuring resolution while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify potential safety hazards.
• Provide training and support to staff on emergency procedures, including CPR and First Aid protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, staff performance, and shift activities for reporting purposes.
