DUBAI BRITISH SCHOOL EMIRATES HILLS IS CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR A HIGHLY QUALIFIED AND EXPERIENCED TEACHER OF COMPUTER SCIENCE.

Due to continued expansion and growth, Dubai British School Emirates Hills is seeking a Teacher of Computer Science to join our thriving school.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to define the scope of the role as DBSEH expands the breadth of its current offering of qualifications. STEM focused subjects are the most demand amongst our high achieving students, and many of our students graduate into highly competitive universities around globe. The successful candidate therefore will bring expertise and experience in the delivery of computing and computer studies through to A - Level, but ideally will also support the delivery of additional STEM or technology focused subjects, such as electronics, engineering or similar as well as taking an active role in evolving our Digital Learning strategy across the curriculum.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• A high-quality degree in Computer Science or related fields.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• At least two years teaching experience, including the teaching of Computer Science at GCSE and A-Level
• An ability to teach consistently inspirational lessons and a track record of outstanding results
• A commitment to the wellbeing of all students within their care
• A willingness to make a broader contribution to school life
• The ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced international, multicultural, and demanding environment
