Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in valet parking or a related hospitality role is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
  • Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.

Responsibilities:

Shangri-La Sydney is the city’s leading luxury hotel. Located in the historic Rocks district between the Sydney Opera and Harbour Bridge, our hotel offers 564 spacious and inspired luxury guests rooms and suites, four food & beverage outlets and 20 functions rooms.
The Overnight Valet Parking attendant is responsible for the initial arrival experience of our guests. You will be a key ambassador of all things Shangri-La to show the guest you care. You will have a welcoming smile, professional appearance, and be sincere in your interaction with all of our guests to create memorable Shangri-La moments.
As a key member of our team, you will always act with a sense of urgency and deliver with purpose.
This role will require you to take care of guests personal property, including luggage, shopping, parking of cars, and delivering items to create those special moments that they will remember.
You will also be required to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment for this role.
