Responsibilities:

  • Work with a wide variety of stakeholders from both within the business and with our supply base and must therefore possess excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Develop an intimate knowledge of our products and our customer, as well as the ability to stay on top of category trends, technologies, innovation, competition and supplier capability within food & non-food categories
  • Maintain intimate knowledge of sales and GP performance of categories by SKU & Negotiate contracts on existing and new product portfolio.
  • Deliver COGS reductions across the respective categories without impacting quality, through ensuring better buying and working collaboratively with our suppliers.Understand supply base capability and identify opportunities to nurture new supplier relationships to deliver long-term competitive advantage.
