Position Summary:
The People & Culture (P&C) Coordinator is an essential member of our P&C team, offering crucial support across various human resources functions. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR, with a focus on administrative tasks, recruitment, and onboarding. As a P&C Coordinator, you’ll help ensure the smooth operation of our HR activities, contribute to a positive workplace culture, and be a valuable part of the employee experience from day one.
What you will be doing:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job advertisements.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and filed correctly.
  • Maintain and update recruitment and onboarding databases to keep information accurate and accessible.
  • Ensure all candidate data is accurately recorded and easily accessible.
  • Conduct reference and background checks on candidates as required.
  • Draft and issue new hire employment agreements in a timely manner.
  • Assist in organizing and attending job fairs to represent WELL and attract potential candidates.
  • Assist with other HR Shared Services-related duties as required.

Administrative Support:

  • Cover front desk responsibilities 3 days per week, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment to support our team members and visitors.
  • Help maintain office spaces by managing meeting rooms, stocking the pantry, and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Support the IT department in coordinating the collection/sending of equipment.
  • Monitoring of the Vonage voicemail and general inquiries.

General P&C Functions:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support to all team members, acting as a first point of contact for P&C-related inquiries.
  • Assist the P&C team with various tasks, always focusing on providing timely and helpful responses to team members’ needs.

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an HR role (preferred) that has equipped you with foundational knowledge and skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in HR software and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
