Description:
P&C SENIOR ACTUARIAL CONSULTANT - PROFESSIONAL SERVICES PRACTICE (PSP)
We are looking for a passionate business-oriented risk professional to support our actuarial team and clients in delivering key risk insights to our professional services firm clients helping them make informed data-driven business decisions.
As part of Aon’s professional services actuarial team, you will have the opportunity to engage directly with clients and stakeholders in presenting risk modelling results and analysis to help clients achieve their business objectives.
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from any of our Canadian offices.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada. This role is not eligible for sponsorship, and we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa or work permit.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE THAT WILL LEAD TO SUCCESS
- Minimum 3-7 years of experience in a P&C actuarial role.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Experienced as an effective team player.
- Must clearly demonstrate competency for attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills - ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize work.
- Prior management experience is considered an asset.
- Experience with VBA, R and/or @Risk is considered an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or similar relevant discipline.
- Successful completion of CAS Exams is required (FCAS or ACAS).
