Description:

Responsibilities:

The Royal Albert Hall is recruiting for an enthusiastic and experienced Personal Assistant to join our Audiences and Programming teams.
The Director of Audiences is responsible for Ticketing Services, Visitor Services and Security, Merchandise and Retail, Marketing and Communications, Archives and IT. The Director of Programming covers Programming and Engagement, Tours, and Production and Technical. With such diverse responsibilities and large teams, the PA to these Directors will need to provide comprehensive administrative support and be the main point of contact for any meetings and engagements.
The day-to-day schedules of the Directors often vary greatly, and can typically include external stakeholder meetings, conferences, preparing for committee meetings, domestic and international travel, internal team meetings, and entertaining at high-profile Royal Albert Hall events. The PA will be required to support the Directors in the planning and execution of these duties and ensure that they are properly prioritised.
The key skills required in this role include adaptability and good time-management skills, to reflect the multifaceted nature of being a PA for two high-level executives in a dynamic and often complex organisation; experience of working for two executives is essential.
A professional demeanour is necessary when working with external clients and excellent written and verbal communication skills are vital. This role is a key part of both the Audiences and Programming teams, so the ability to work well within a team, as well as handling independent tasks, is essential.
This is an exciting opportunity for individuals wishing to further their career in the arts and entertainment sector at a world-class historic venue.
For more detailed information about this role please see the recruitment pack.
The closing date for all applications is at 12pm on Monday 11 November 2024. Applicants must be available for a first interview on the week commencing 18 November 2024.
The Royal Albert Hall is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment in which everyone can thrive. We encourage candidates from all cultures and backgrounds to apply.
