POSITION SUMMARY

CIMCO is seeking a Package Estimator to build estimates for packages build out of our Edmonton Manufacturing Shop. This role will work internally with our sales teams to provide pricing for CIMCO manufactured products.

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Competent and experienced in refrigeration package construction and fabrication
  • Competent and experienced in task labour estimating
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks/requests at once
  • Experience in refrigeration regulatory code and Quality Control

Responsibilities:

  • Review pricing requests from CIMCO sales team. Work with engineering to provide basis of design
  • Decipher preliminary P&ID and layout drawings from engineering to determine required equipment, materials and subcontractors
  • Source pricing and availability for equipment, materials and subcontractors
  • Build labour estimate to assemble packages and standard products in CIMCO Edmonton shop, review with construction manager & fabrication manager to confirm labour allotment
  • Complete estimate encompassing all equipment, materials, labour and subcontractors, including review with sales team and bid review
  • Perform QC on completed packages and input to package design and modeling
