The Packaging and Creative Services Manager serves as the leader between Marketing and cross-functional teammates (R&D, Sourcing, Supply, Design and Operations) that work together to bring our products into market. You will lead multiple cross-functional meetings to align and prioritize resources to meet the packaging needs of our growing Frozen CPG portfolio of products. Packaging projects include New Product Introductions (NPIs), Product Renovations, Packaging Design Improvements and minor refinements. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to lead teammates through influence, project management skills, digital asset management and extreme attention-to-detail. The Packaging and Creative Services Manager serves as the final approver of packaging that will be printed and introduced to market. The ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teammates and adapt to a high-speed, high growth, evolving environment is critical to success.
Requirements:
- Leads weekly Go-To-Market Packaging Management meeting to keep all projects advancing towards needed shipment time of our customers.
- Sets agenda, provides reference documents (pptx, word, excel) and clearly defines cross-functional responsibilities from project start to completion.
- Provides clear recap with defined responsibilities for Cross-Functional teammates leading to the next project check-in.
- Collaborates with supply and sourcing to minimize packaging write-offs (Share advanced knowledge of packaging adjustments so Supply/Sourcing partners can refine purchasing of packaging inventory.)
- Collaborates with supply, sourcing, design and digital team to ensure packaging shelf-visibility is shared across the group and digital-shelf mimics what a shopper would see in a retail store.
- Develops and implements packaging creative briefs with our internal design team and agency partners.
- Coordinates the transition of all packaging files to our Packaging Production Vendors (Wrappers, Trays, Cartons) and ensures all final materials are proofed and accurate.
- Lead the routing process across all functions to ensure every piece of packaging is accurate and optimized and arrives at printer on time to hit start ship dates.

Key Functional Skills/Knowledge
- Prefer a minimum of 3-5 years experience managing packaging development and production process at a CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) company or similar industry with unique packaging/labeling needs for a portfolio of SKUs. Proven results leading projects end-to-end across multiple functions.
- Experience at an entrepreneurial and high-growth company is preferred, but not required.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but may not be required when combined with experience.
- Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Highly collaborative — demonstrated ability to share knowledge and information at different levels of the organization, contributing to a team that is always raising the bar for excellence and innovation.
- Work well with other cross-functional partners, with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and ambition to every task.
