Job Description
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics or Transportation or another related field preferred.
- Knowledge of Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and IATA Certification will be an asset
- Completed Criminal Background Check
Responsibilities:
JOB PURPOSE
The incumbent for the position will work in the morning shift (6:00am to 2:30pm) playing an active role in the day-to-day activities within shipping and logistics department including inventory management, daily picking, packaging, processing, and shipping of customer orders in a safe, high quality, and timely manner. This individual will be cross trained to support and coordinate all aspects of transportation of outbound orders, tracking shipments, and communicating with clients, customer service, tech support, freight carrier services and third-party service providers and help customers resolve shipment issues and complaints when they arise. The ideal candidate will be a highly talented individual with solid work ethic, proven experience in shipping and logistics environment. This individual will be a forward-thinking, high-achiever who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment focused on continuous improvement. All work responsibilities will be performed carefully and accurately to meet the high-quality standard of the company.
