Job Description
Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Packaging Cold Chain Engineer to join our team. The Packaging Cold Chain Engineer will be responsible for managing, developing, testing, qualifying, and commercializing secondary packaging solutions for both new and existing pharmaceutical products, including combination products. This position also requires ensuring compliance with relevant market and industry standards, as well as with internal guidelines, to support product protection, cold chain distribution testing, packaging line trials, and packaging equipment/material qualifications.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage Transportation Study activities for the supply chain, including Physical/Simulated Distribution Testing and Temperature Control (Cold Chain) Qualification for API, DS, DP, and FG.
Develop and qualify secondary packaging solutions for new and existing pharmaceutical and device products, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Oversee packaging distribution/transportation testing for both cold chain and non-cold chain products.
Conduct and support packaging line trials, packaging equipment, and material qualifications, including those for child-resistant requirements, human factors studies, and patient-centric designs.
Collaborate with global partners across the supply chain to resolve technical issues.
