YOUR SKILLS

  • University Degree in Engineering or Computer Sciences with more than 5 years of relevant working experience
  • Drive results by effective communication and motivating internal and external stakeholders to induce a new way of working
  • Digital literacy and proven ability to drive transformation using novel technologies
  • Proven track in successful project management with preferred experience in systems and data
  • Knowledge on packaging development and materials is desirable
  • Ability to work independently, willingness to learn, team attitude and good soft skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Digital Knowledge Sharing and Collaboration

Responsibilities:

  • This newly created position within the Henkel Consumer Business unit is located at Global R&D Packaging CoE (Centre of Excellence)
  • Lead packaging digital data architecture systems development in cooperation with internal functions and corporate IT
  • Manage effective deployment of our global packaging specification data to the next level by making use of state-of-the-art systems, knowledge and technologies for Sustainability and reporting tools
  • Lead relevant initiatives with strong focus on efficiency and effort and establish a sustainable life cycle management methodology
  • Conduct in depth analysis of our data and create dashboards to support strategic decisions, portfolio management and projects
  • Actively investigate and apply emerging technologies to design cutting-edge future Packaging systems with AI, Machine Learning and process automation
  • Support of external projects and interaction with business partners (e.g. suppliers)
  • Share knowledge and build a sufficient infrastructure and network to enhance collaboration in R&D
