Lotus Cars Limited is the manufacturing site of Lotus in the UK. Here we produce all sportscars types such as the Emira and the Evija. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Packaging Engineer in the Operational Excellence Department to join us in our manufacturing plant based in Hethel.

SUMMARY:

The role involves supporting the Supply chain department with advanced planning activities for Packaging Design, Planning and Implementation solutions, for all current and new vehicle programmes.
This includes working on design and commission prototypes and production packaging solutions, for component and sub assembly deliveries to the production line.

• Calculate internal / external costs, that contribute to the Total Acquisition Costs.
• Feed in and support the supplier selection processes.
• Assess the impact on packaging & process flow & capability.
• Value Chain Mapping.
• Business case development.
