The Role & What You Will Be Doing
The Packaging Operator will be responsible for ensuring that all weekly production schedules are met.
Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Packaging Operator role will make an impact:
- Inspection, labeling and packaging products, i.e. vials/syringes.
- Responsible for on-going cleaning as required on packaging and labeling equipment and premises (i.e. Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly cleaning schedules.)
- Responsible for consistent quality of products assembled.
- Responsible for working within Health and Safety Guidelines and Procedures.
- Communicate issues including quality assurance to Line Leader, Packaging Supervisor or Packaging Manager in a timely manner.
- Responsible for adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
- Responsible for adhering to Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions pertaining to the Work-In-Process area.
About Your Skills & Experience
For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
- Minimum Leaving Certificate or equivalent, previous experience working in a GMP environment. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. Adhere to company policies and practices as laid down and trained and maintain a high standard of cleanliness whilst carrying out procedures.
- Must be able to work as part of a team.
- Ability to read and interpret general business documents. Ability to write routine reports and general business correspondence. Ability to work with peers and communicate basic concepts.
- Must have good hand to eye co-ordination.
- Basic math’s ability i.e. add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Ability to solve practical problems through standardized solutions that require limited judgment. Ability to follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve routine problems.
- Must have good attention to detail.
