Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Provide comprehensive training to Machine Operators and Line Workers on equipment usage and operational procedures specific to their responsibilities.
  • Lead and manage production lines, setting a high standard for efficiency and performance.
  • Serve as a backup to the Packaging Supervisor, stepping in during their absence and assisting in refining production systems, safety measures, quality control, and performance management.
  • Actively circulate throughout the department to address issues, foster effective employee relations, and conduct routine training as needed.
  • Develop and execute activity plans for assigned production lines, managing line priorities to meet production goals.
  • Relay production line needs and issues to supervisors, managers, and support teams effectively.
  • Ensure the accuracy of various operational documents, including Packaging Batch Records, Area Clearances, Initial Verifications, In-Process Checks, Warehouse Returns, and Cleaning and Usage Logs.
  • Keep supervision updated on any line or component issues throughout the shift, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Monitor cleaning processes to ensure the procedures are being performed accurately.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Trained Qualified Personnel to obtain necessary authorizations for operation and production.
