JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW
This role will primarily build custom shipping crates for products being shipped. You will use a saw to cut material and a nail gun to construct the crate.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES
- A team player with excellent communication skills.
- Basic computer, measurement, and math skills.
- Ability to be flexible and adjust priories to reflect changing needs or job demands.
- Attention to detail.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to safely lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs.
- Experience using a saw preferred.
Responsibilities:
- This position will work within the shipping and receiving department.
- Perform picking/packing/shipping functions.
- Identify conveyors and associated parts to measure for packaging.
- Cut wood and build crates & skids for the conveyors and associated parts.
- Other duties as assigned.
