Production Packer
(Dayshift/Backshift/Nightshift rotation)
Location - Kirkcaldy
Contract - 6 months+ (view to direct hire)
Rates: competitive (basic + shift allowance + overtime)
Our client, a successful manufacturing business is currently sourcing experienced Production Packer for a 3 shift rotational contract role (Dayshift/Backshift/Nightshift) based in Kirkcaldy. The vacancies are contract for approximately 6 months but maybe extended/permanent.
Ideal candidates need to demonstrate a high level of concentration while carrying out duties, have a reasonable level of fitness as there is a high degree of physical work required.
Preferable experience in manufacturing packing. Good team player with confident communication skills, experience of working within a team environment to achieve high level output. A sound understanding of H&S matters.
The role will include manual handling, packing products for despatch and general labouring duties.
Rates of pay:
Dayshift - 6.00 am - 2.00 pm - £12.40/hr + £1.50/hr holiday pay
Backshift - 2.00 pm - 10.00 pm - £13.14/hr + £1.59/hr holiday pay
Nightshift - 10pm - 6 am - £14.40/hr + £2.17/hr holiday pay
Overtime 1 - £18.12 + £2.19 per hour holiday pay
Overtime 2 - £23.84 + £2.88 per hour holiday pay
Due to location and start time, own transport or living near the facility is essential.
