Packing General Help will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient assembly and packaging of products. The primary focus will be on placing the correct number of products from the assembly line onto trays or into cases, contributing to the overall quality and success of our production process.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately placing the correct number of products from the assembly line onto trays or into cases.
  • Verifying the proper codes on bags and/or cases, ensuring legibility and accuracy.
  • Checking and ensuring the proper packaging materials are consistently used.
  • Regularly inspecting package seals to maintain quality standards.
  • Assisting Machine Operators in setting up machines for various product varieties.
  • Communicating effectively with Machine Operators, Lead Persons, and Packaging Supervisors to address any issues promptly.
  • Adjusting the infeed to machines to accommodate products without causing damage.
  • Removing products from the line and placing them on appropriate racks/trays during machine stoppages.
  • Performing quality inspections as directed by Supervisors or Lead Persons.
