REQUIREMENTS:
The role will involve weighing out and packing of our internally created products to the right quantities needed for the daily deliveries to our bakeries.
You would be responsible for ensuring the team carries that out within an expected timeframe.
The Shift patterns for this role will be now from:
Monday to Sunday, 5 days with a shift pattern of: 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm – though these hours are dependent on the day’s workload and can be variable.
Responsibilities:
OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE:
We are looking for a dynamic Packer to join our team! In our Kitchen Production Unit team at North Acton – London (Central Line). Potentially ready to move in the future to our Central Production Unit.
DUTIES:
- To be careful weighing, packing and labelling the items correctly and ensuring the team do the same.
- To organize all the products packed and labelled before, and ensuring the team do the same.
- To understand the order sheets
- To pack all the deliveries and storing away appropriately for the driving section to pick up.
- Paying very close attention to the expiry dates
- To record the stock numbers and reporting on any defective products
- To recognize what products are in line with our high-quality standards, and ready to be sent.
- To manage the staff according to task and objectives to performed.
- To evaluate the and manage the staff in accordance with the Group company policies, in particular the Hygiene, Food Safety, Health and Safety.
- Maintain personal and general Hygiene standards at all times.
- Ensure the team maintain a consistent pace.
