Paediatric Dietitian (Gastroenterology and Special Needs)

We have a great opportunity for an HCPC registered dietitian to join our award winning paediatric dietetic team (approximately 25 dietitians) at Southampton Children’s Hospital as a band 6 paediatric gastroenterology and special needs dietitian. This a fixed term position covering maternity leave.
You will either have previous experience of paediatrics or have relevant adult experience, transferable to the role. You will cover inpatients, outpatients and MDT clinics in special schools working in supportive, experienced teams.

Your Responsibilities

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• You must be an HCPC registered dietitian
• Experience of paediatric dietetics is an advantage but if you have relevant adult dietetic experience, transferable skills and a desire to work in paediatrics, then we would encourage you to apply.
• You must have the ability to cope with unpredictable events and varying workload pressures and be able to plan and prioritise your workload within agreed boundaries
