Description:
- Develop and discuss, with senior nursing team, new ideas and methods of practice to ensure the service is improved and developed as an ongoingprocess.2. Ensure that Trust clinical policies and procedures are complied with within the ward. Informing the Unit Sister of matters, which affect the implementation of the agreed policies.3.
Assist with the provision of child centred care that incorporates the needs of children of all ages and stages of development.4. Work closely with the children and their families, being sensitive to their needs and promote family centred care within the ward environment.5. Act as an advocate for children wherever they are within the Trust and hospital setting and to advise colleagues on all matters concerning the nursing care of children.6. Assess the needs of patients within the clinical area, plan and implementindividualised holistic nursing care.7.
