Paediatric Staff Nurse

Undertake and documents a comprehensive, systematic and accurate nursing assessment of the physical social and spiritual needs of the patients where appropriate. Creates and utilizes opportunities to promote health and well-being of patients in their care. Leads a nursing team to manage a group of patients throughout a shift. Ensure that all staff working within the Policies, Procedures of the Trust in line with NMC Guidance Positive attitude to continuing professional education in order to enhance knowledge, skills and attitudes needed for safe and effective nursing practice.
Maintaining standards by ensuring that evidenced based practice underpins all nursing inventions. Participate in Trust Appraisal system Liaises with Ward/Department Team, other Wards and Departments as appropriate to ensure patients receive optimum care.
