Description:

Do you have a passion for working with in a paediatric setting? Do you want to work in a challenging environment? We are looking to recruit Band 5 staff nurses on a fixed term contract for 10 months to cover maternity leave. The busy children’s ward has an identified Paediatric Assessment Unit, High Dependency Area, Young Person’s Area and a Dedicated Day Case Ward. We require someone who is adaptable to work in all areas of the ward and who is a real team player.
The post holder will be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development and implementation and evaluation of programmes of care without supervision. They will be required to actively participate in the teaching and supervision of other nursing and non-nursing staff. The post holder may be required to work on both the Children’s Ward and the Paediatric area within the Emergency Department.
