The Paid Media Manager will be part of a Digital Centre of Excellence, which manages the deployment and execution of The UK and Europe digital paid media strategy. As an integral part of the Centre of Excellence you will be contributing and sharing knowledge across international regions. You will regularly analyse, report and present performance back to senior stakeholders, create and deploy testing plans, and use initiatives to drive paid media channel performance forward, whilst ensuring you stay close to the latest market trends and developments.

What you’ll be doing
About the role and what you’ll be doing:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and commercially minded Paid Media Manager to join our marketing team on a permanent basis. In this role you will be supporting the strategy and plan, and manage the deployment of our paid media customer acquisition. This currently incorporates mainly PPC, however also includes Social, Affiliates and Display channel activity.
The Paid Media Manager will be part of a Digital Centre of Excellence, which manages the deployment and execution of The UK and Europe digital paid media strategy. You will regularly analyse, report and present performance back to senior stakeholders, create and deploy testing plans, and use initiatives to drive paid media channel performance forward, whilst ensuring you stay close to the latest market trends and developments.
Key accountabilities:
- Leading the technical deployment of the UK Paid Media strategy, plan and executional tactics across our accounts (Google, Bing, Meta and LinkedIn).
- Managing the operational and technical optimisation plan and tactics for all Paid Media activity to ensure the company targets are met.
- Reviewing performance daily, suggesting and implementing optimisations to drive performance and at an efficient level.
- Driving results from other key performance paid media channels (Social, Affiliates, Display etc.).
- Proposing and implementing paid media tests to enhance performance – both from a creative and bid strategy point of view.
- Consistently reporting on campaign effectiveness to senior stakeholders, including market trends, competitive landscape, KPIs, and recommendations on opportunities for growth and managing risks.
- Managing and maintaining major supplier relationships, including but not limited to external media agency partner, Google and Meta. Ensuring activities are executed whilst staying abreast of industry trends, latest products/tools and following best practice.
- Implementing and managing all tracking across the UK paid media, including setting up event tracking in GA4 and managing tracking within Google Tag Manager, while ensuring these are aligned across the UK and European region.
- Proactively coordinate regular tactical creative refreshes. In collaboration with Marketing Managers brief in new assets and share creative performance.
Skills and experience we’d like you to have:
- Prior Paid Media experience (a mixture of other channels preferable).
- Commercially minded with proven ability to meet targets whilst driving ROI
- Highly technical and analytical in the deployment of PPC and other paid media channels
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team spread across geographies
- Dedicated to achieving the best possible results, having a desire to drive performance forward
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and working with people at all levels
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders
