JOB PURPOSE

Burberry is looking for a skilled Paid Social Media Manager to join the Social Media team. In this role you will leverage Burberry’s global, luxury Digital leadership position to maximise Paid Social strategies. Elevate the brand, inspire and grow our fans and develop incremental commercial opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, govern and develop Burberry’s global Paid Social media strategies across various fashion campaigns, aligning with brand goals and objectives.
  • Act as the go-to Paid Social expert within Burberry, advocating for Paid Social across global, regional, and local marketing teams, and collaborating with organic social and marketing peers.
  • Partner closely with Brand, Social, Creative, and Copy teams to develop campaign concepts and tactics, ensuring alignment on KPIs and best practices for Paid Social executions.
  • Manage Global Social Partnerships and Industry Relationships. Maintain and strengthen relationships with key platform partners and industry contacts, driving strategic innovations across priority social platforms.
  • Responsible for day-to-day communications with the media agency, handling day-to-day communications, strategy evolution, campaign briefings, and collaboration with platforms for maximum efficiency.
  • Align with Media and Performance Marketing Teams. Act as an advisor on social media within media, digital, and partnership initiatives, ensuring an integrated messaging, targeting, and mid- to lower-funnel marketing efforts.
  • Work closely with the Global Performance Marketing team in order to align mid- and lower-funnel priorities
  • Own Paid Social budgeting, forecasting, and finance processes while conducting campaign reporting and performance analysis to optimise efforts and share insights with internal teams.
  • Drive Innovation and Advise Licensing Partners. Champion social channel innovations, exploring new technologies and strategies with an eye for efficiency and growth, and guide licensing partners to align global marketing efforts with Burberry’s brand vision.
