Job Description :
Biddable Manager (Paid Social and Programmatic) – London
Reporting To: Biddable Account Director
Remote working & Office Location: Havas KX, 3 Pancras Sq, London N1C 4AG
About Us – Havas Media Group
At Havas Media, we are passionate about helping our clients create Meaningful Brands by reimagining valuable experiences. Our smart thinking around enhancing consumer experiences means we deliver more measurable, meaningful moments between brands and people. We call this Mx (Meaningful Media Experiences); thinking about how we connect consumers to the right content in the right context.
We are based in London’s King’s Cross – one of 20+ agencies which make up the Havas Village. As others attempt – and struggle – to integrate and simplify their offer, we continue to pioneer the UK’s only truly integrated model within our King’s Cross Village. We are the only UK Media Agency to share a single building with every other specialist business in our network, all under a single P&L – which means we can draw on broader expertise to create bespoke teams – while boasting a unique and unparalleled entertainment offering through our partnership with Vivendi.
We maximise collaboration and offer our clients a powerful combination of creative, content and media excellence, scale, agility and innovation. This means we can field our very best people and change our shape according to the needs of each client and brief we work with.
Our commitment to making a meaningful difference to our people.
At Havas, our mission is to make a meaningful difference to the brands, the businesses and the lives of the people we work with. This guiding purpose is central to everything we do at Havas as we strive to create a great place to work through an environment and culture that makes a meaningful difference to our people.
At Havas Media we strive to be “meaningfully daring”.

The Role
This is an exciting position as a Biddable Manager within the Biddable team. You’ll be working across some of our most prestigious accounts, with a strong emphasis on agility as you work closely with your direct team as well as the client planning team.
Our managers are given the autonomy to work seamlessly across their client teams, providing outstanding biddable knowledge and leading biddable approaches for clients. Their knowledge is applied not only to campaign plans but also contribute to the wider team; helping to develop the biddable skills of those more junior as well as working on progressive innovative ideas with the directors in their team.
This role is responsible for the management and development of one Executive within the larger team. Our Managers are enthusiastic in building a strong culture of collaboration and support, playing a key role in our extensive training programme; delivering basic parts with others in the team as well as being involved in more advanced training to help their own development in an ever-changing landscape.
They have a wide network of specialist support within the rest of the team – across Trading, Planning and Supply - and report into the Biddable Account Director daily as well as to shape and deploy new biddable initiatives and client solutions, providing essential feedback and ideas. They will also work closely between the Paid Social and Programmatic teams and wider agency, working as a collaborative unit across their clients, building best practice, learnings and innovation across the entire Havas Group.
The role is perfect for someone who has had a background in Paid Social and/or Programmatic or has worked closely with various Paid Social and/or Programmatic platforms and is looking to take their career to the next step, advising and putting Biddable into action with clients. It also provides development opportunities in wider digital roles with wider exposure into other digital channels.
There is a big focus on training & development within the Biddable team, so candidates will not only be evaluated on their strengths but also their attitude to learning new skills.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Solid planning and buying experience working with paid social and/or programmatic.
  • Excellent understanding of the role of Paid Social and Programmatic in the wider media mix in order to achieve a client’s overarching business objective
  • 18 months+ trading experience, ideally in Meta, DV360, TikTok, MediaMath, Twitter, Teads, LinkedIn, Verizon DSPs, Snap and/or Amazon DSP as well as knowledge of adservers, especially DCM.
  • Able to produce Biddable media plans & supporting rationale documents that demonstrate a high level of expertise and innovation
  • Be client facing as necessary depending on the needs of specific accounts, as the Biddable specialist within the client team
  • Working knowledge of audience forecasting and reporting tools as well as DSP audience insight tools
  • Develop and evolve best-in-class client reporting including meaningful post campaign analysis and feedback
  • Continually act as an ambassador for the agency at internal and external events, demonstrating our agency values and lending to the development of a great agency culture.
  • Enhance their day to day work with innovation projects within the Biddable team that drive future opportunities
  • Proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint, Word and Excel

What you will be responsible for:

  • Operate media planning and buying (when required) for your client portfolio on your channel in alignment with planning guidelines (omnichannel strategy) and usage of appropriate decision frameworks
  • Ensure the smooth running of campaigns respecting deadlines
  • Ensure client satisfaction on the campaign delivery and performance
  • Be accountable for reaching the target objectives/productivity plan, driving the trading teams in reaching their objectives
  • Weekly reporting, client calls and post campaign analysis providing meaningful insights and future opportunities
  • Pro-active presentations to promote programmatic capabilities both internally and externally
  • Working closely with the Biddable Account Director to develop client and client team understanding of biddable
  • Actively providing feedback to Biddable Account Director on the prioritisation of ways of working, new product features and capabilities.
  • Ownership or active participation on wider biddable projects outside of day to day campaigns, e.g. measurement frameworks.
  • Working across multiple digital media platforms including, but not limited to, Google Marketing Platform, Integral Ad Science, Lumen, etc.
  • Managing day to day workload, and personal development of junior team members who will report into you
  • Identifying training & development needs of junior members of the wider team and leading content for sessions where required

Who we’re looking for:

  • A natural at working with multiple groups of people.
  • You enjoy working autonomously but also within a larger team that work collaboratively.
  • You’re open to new ideas and developing your thought leadership skills.
  • You have passion and curiosity for the industry, and can demonstrate this passion in your output for clients
  • Confidence with your own technical knowledge of Biddable but also just as comfortable in asking for support where needed from Trading specialists, or other members of the planning team – junior or senior
  • You will ideally have had previous experience at Top 6 network agencies.

If you are interested in interviewing for this role …
Let the Havas talent acquisition partner know and an interview will be setup for you. For this role, the interview process consists of two stages.
The first stage is a 60 minute interview – the first 30 minutes is a “chemistry” in which we will introduce our agency to you, ask questions about your ambitions and show you how you would be supported by your direct and wider teams daily. The second 30 minutes will consist of a “test” in which we provide realistic scenarios to assess your maths skills and attention to detail with numbers and language.
On the back of the assessment and test in the first stage, you might be presented with a tactical brief and invited to a second stage interview with one or more Account Directors to respond to the tactical brief. The purpose of this is to give your potential Director opportunity to understand your thinking process and assess your potential fit from a chemistry and cultural point of view. Following end of the second interview we may make an offer to you.

Tips for a successful interview

  • Ensure you’re taking the interview in a quiet environment – ideally a room with good lighting. Do not take the interview on-the-go or while in a bus. If you can’t be in a quiet setting at the time, we ask you to get in touch to reschedule the interview.
  • Have your camera on – we’d like to see who we’re speaking to
  • Try to understand what the role is you are applying for as much as possible and field your questions during the interviews
  • Be able to explain why you would be good for the role. Think about relevant key attributes of the role and apply them to yourselves.
  • An awareness of Havas Media Group U.K. – do some basic research of our homepage and Google News – we appreciate your ability to give feedback on some of the services we provide and who some of our clients are
