Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• In lieu of High School or GED diploma, 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience: One-year of experience painting, patching, installing wall covering, ceiling tile, wall protective materials, rubber base, and some floor covering., required.
• Additional skills required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to successfully apply customer satisfaction standards. Good oral and written communication skills. Knowledgeable in the use of a variety of hand and power tools. Ability to skillfully use trade related tools and equipment. Ability to plan and lay out work including estimating labor and material cost. Ability to distinguish the nature of objects and color. Ability to perform and learn to perform a wide range of general maintenance and repair work not requiring full journeyman skill. Ability to interact with individuals of all cultures and levels of authority. Possesses a valid and appropriate driver’s license.
