Painter - Student Accommodation

at  Student Roost

We are looking for someone to join our Roost on a full-time fixed term basis, with the successful candidate working 5 days out of 7 between 8am & 6pm for a period of 3 weeks. Our new Painter will support our existing, friendly and experienced property team at our Buchanan View and Gibson Street properties in Glasgow whilst we get our Student Accommodation ready for the September intake of students.

Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: £23,400 per annum (£12.00 per hour)
Fixed term period: 3 weeks

Our fixed term Painter will join our existing team at Buchanan View & Gibson Street. Our caretakers are just that: individuals who take care of our buildings, providing not only safe spaces for our residents and team members but also going over and above to keep our buildings well-maintained and an aesthetic dream.
As a part of the caretaker team at Student Roost, you are involved in all aspects of building maintenance, from carrying out small repairs to escorting third-party contractors to any issues within your building. You’ll have primary responsibility for painting within our property as well as supporting with all aspects of building maintenance, and just as you care for our buildings and the people within them, well take care of you.
