The Painter Supervisor + Painter is responsible for overseeing painting projects, managing a team of painters, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and maintaining compliance with safety and company standards. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills to efficiently complete projects on time and within budget.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Proven experience as a Painter Supervisor or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of workplace safety and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Vocational training or certification in painting (Preferred).
• 3-5 years of painting experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.

• Provide estimates of paints usage in specific areas.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of painters, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Plan and schedule painting projects, assigning tasks based on skill level and job requirements.
• Inspect surfaces to determine the necessary preparation and materials needed.
• Ensure proper mixing and application of paints, coatings, and finishes.
• Monitor job sites for adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
• Train and mentor painters on proper techniques, safety procedures, and equipment usage.
• Maintain inventory of paints, tools, and materials, placing orders as needed.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
• Conduct final inspections to ensure work meets industry and company quality standards.
• Troubleshoot issues related to painting work and provide solutions.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, hours worked, and materials used.
