Paintline Machine Operator

ChampionX has an immediate need for an Paintline Machine Operator at Alberta Oil Tool located in Edmonton, AB, Canada. This is your opportunity to join a growing company offering a competitive base salary and benefits.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Available for overtime or shift work as needed

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

• Pre-employment testing including drug & alcohol, vision, auditory, background check and physical demands assessment required upon hire
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours/day

• Remove Sucker Rods from the Paintline machine after they have been painted
• Perform quality inspections
• Sort, crate, and package material to be shipped to the customer
• Use the strapping gun to band the material together
• Perform minor machine adjustments and maintenance
• Complete all associated paperwork, including, but not limited to, quality plans and cleaning plans
• Assist crane operators with the strapping/rigging of crates
• Clean working area, including cleaning & controlling any paint spillage
• Work in a safe manner, follow all rules, regulations, and legislation
• Follow Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement guidelines
