Description:
Robert Half Legal Permanent Placement is seeking a Paralegal/Account Manager in Boston with litigation experience to go in-house. As a crucial part of our team, the candidate will need to demonstrate excellent analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills, and communication skills. Very flexible schedule after first 6 months in office, then can be fully remote.

Responsibilities:
Analyze, investigate, and evaluate new loss notices and claim tenders.
Find copies of alleged coverage with policy search teams where necessary.
Position claim under applicable primary, umbrella, and excess coverage swiftly.
Coordinate the retention of defense counsel with various stakeholders.
Determine defense strategy with insured, defense counsel, and/or other participating insurance carriers.
Manage the case resolution process proactively. Attend mediations as required, within settlement authority limits.
Provide reinsurance department with notice of new accounts, updates on current accounts, and respond to reinsurer inquiries.
Work with in-house legal/management teams to manage declaratory judgment actions.
Aid in setting reserves at an appropriate level for claims.
Organize timely payment processing, including the proper allocation of payments across appropriate policies.
Manage ALAE using strategic handling and bill review/payment processing in collaboration with the billing team.
Document claims as per established guidelines. Obtain and maintain adjuster licenses as required.
Travel as necessary
