Our Catastrophic Personal Injury team at DWF, Manchester are currently hiring for a Paralegal.
The Catastrophic Injury team is one of the largest in the UK and is recognised nationally. Our 30+ strong Manchester team acts for household name insurer clients on high value, complex personal injury claims . The team’s expertise covers Road Traffic Accidents (RTA) and Employers Liability (EL) / Public Liability (PL) matters although expertise in all of those sub-specialisms is not necessarily a pre-requisite for the role

Responsibilities:

  • To action cases in line with the department’s and client’s service standards and protocols.
  • To act as a trusted member within the team, taking responsibility and ensuring the case management system is kept up to date with court orders, and liaising with clients.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into liability and damages, gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and liaising with experts.
  • Progression of cases to a satisfactory and speedy settlement per the client’s requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, internal policies, and best practices, maintaining confidentiality and data protection standards at all times.
