Job Description
- Litigation Support: Assist attorneys with all stages of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and case management.
- Client Relations: Serve as a key liaison between clients, attorneys, and opposing counsel, fostering strong professional relationships.
- Document Management: Organize and maintain case files, e-discovery platforms, and document repositories with precision and efficiency.
- Calendar and Deadline Tracking: Manage critical deadlines and coordinate schedules to ensure seamless case progression.
- Database Management: Maintain case and client information databases, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of all records.
Required Qualifications
- Proven Experience: A background in utility, construction, and business/commercial litigation is preferred.
- Education: A paralegal certificate or a four-year degree is highly desirable.
- Organizational Excellence: Exceptional attention to detail, strong multitasking abilities, and the capability to manage several cases and attorneys simultaneously.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and legal professionals.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and database management tools.
